COL offers help to find new home for animals world wide

COL Systems has opened up for free use of the COL program where RSPCA and other charities can post pets looking for a new home. This applies to the United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Ireland, Iceland, Denmark, New Zealand, India and South Africa.
It has become quite apparent that the new upcoming community section of COL (communityonline.info 1st Oct. 2004) opens up the door for more than just reading community messages and responding to local Police witness requests. Now the user can look for pets they would like to give a new home, and even post their own missing pet and photo to other COL users in the local community.
We anticipate that this free service will speed up the relocation of pets in need of a new home, as users of the system will be able to search the whole of the UK for a certain pet and if not found, have a message sent to them once such animal is posted.
